The M-Dock gangway will be out of service for short periods of time tomorrow (Thursday) morning while the sidewalk is being poured at the top of the ramp. Once the concrete is poured/finished, the contractor will put planks over the top for tenant access to the M-Dock ramp. The use of carts, however, will be restricted throughout the day. M-Dock tenants may contact Doreen Torseth (206-794-5372) to receive contractor assistance with getting gear up/down the ramp on Thursday.
If there are questions, please contact the Marina office (206-824-5700).

Guest Moorage Ramp -- Temporary Relocation
The Guest Moorage gangway (which is used for access to N-Dock, fuel dock and guest moorage areas) has been moved to a new/temporary location due west of the Marina Office. Anyone wishing to access these docks should proceed through the breezeway between the Marina Office and Restrooms and straight down the ramp.
Please be aware that this is a temporary access measure while construction takes place in the vicinity of the fuel tanks and former location of the gangway. The pathway is not paved, so please exercise caution as you proceed through this area.

Marina Office Parking Lot - Temporarily Closed
Beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, June 8, the “horseshoe” parking lot behind the Marina Office will be temporarily closed due to construction of the 36” storm drain line. IMCO General Construction will be working to connect the new 36” storm drain to the existing storm drain system in an area in the middle of the Marina Office parking lot. The anticipated parking lot closure is expected to last two weeks (dependent upon weather).
Pedestrian access will be available to the Marina Office, but vehicles must park in the area just to the east of the dry sheds along Dock Avenue South.
If you have any questions or need special assistance, please contact the Marina Office at 206-824-5700.
Thank you for your continued care, caution and patience during construction.

M-Dock Access CHANGE
Beginning Sunday morning, May 30, M-Dock tenants will use the recently re-installed M-Dock ramp to access the dock. The floats that have been positioned as a temporary walkway between M- and N-Docks will be removed on Sunday morning and returned to Redondo.
For this first weekend, there will be two Loading/Unloading zones near the IMCO construction gate in the vicinity of the top of the M-Dock ramp. Tenants may park in these spaces to load/unload gear (15 minutes maximum). Beginning Tuesday morning, the M-Dock Loading/Unloading zone will move over to a marked area adjacent to the CSR facility and will remain there until the roadway in front of M-Dock is opened again to vehicle traffic.
Tenants should exercise caution when using the loading zones and temporary walkway to the M-Dock ramp as this area is still under construction.

Extended Work Hours for June 1-4
IMCO has received permission for their storm drain installation crew to work 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. next Tuesday, June 1, through Friday, June 4, due to tidal conditions. The crew will be excavating, laying 36" concrete pipe and backfilling in the area between the Marina Office and the north end of the dry sheds. Because of the area's proximity to the bulkhead, this underground utility work can only be done at lower tides.
In approving the request, the following conditions were stipulated in the approval for the modification of the Hours of Operations:
1. The construction site must be completely shut down for the day, to include turning off construction lighting, by 8:30 p.m. each evening;
2. The Contractor is required to comply with all noise requirements established by the City's Municipal Code and WAC 173-60; and
3. Construction lighting shall be directed away from the residential areas and limited to lighting needed to safely illuminate the work zone as established by industry standards.
IMCO's other construction crews will still be working their regular 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. hours.
If you have any questions about this work, please don’t hesitate to contact Doreen Torseth or Harbormaster/Project Manager Joe Dusenbury at 206-824-5700.
Thank you for your continued patience and cooperation during construction.
