Construction Activity After Hours 11/30/2009

IMCO General Construction will be performing work after normal working hours today, Monday, November 30, 2009. The specific window of work will be from 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

The Contractor will be removing the tidal grid at the north end of the Marina basin. This work must be performed at low tide in order to safely protect in place the existing bulkhead directly adjacent to the tide grid. Sufficient visibility for this select demolition is only possible at low tide. In addition, because the demolition will occur out of the water, there will be no turbidity issues thus protecting the environment. The low tide that night is a -1.9 at 9:30 p.m. IMCO anticipates having visible access to the grid at a +3 tide.

If you have any questions regarding the work to be performed this evening, please contact Joe Dusenbury, Harbormaster/Project Manager, or Doreen Torseth, Contract Administrator.
